CEILING FANS

WE WILL:

1. Place protective cloth or paper in areas where work is to be performed.

2. Confirm placement of ceiling fan with customer

3. Turn unit?s electrical breaker to ?off? position.

4. Verify breaker is properly sized for the unit.

5. Remove existing fan or fixture if applicable.

6. Inspect outlet box and wiring to verify compliance to the Canadian Electrical Code Plastic ceiling boxes are not rated for the installation of ceiling fans by code and can be easily changed to a proper steel box rated.

7. Assemble and install new ceiling fan.

8. Turn electrical breaker to ?on? position.

9. Test fan operation and balance blades if required.

10. Discuss fan operation.

11. Leave work area cleaner than when arrived.
